Continuation – A Reflection

Perseverance is important when singing holy scriptures…Now that I completed Matthew and Mark I continue on my journey of eternity by singing Luke…I noticed that the chapter’s in Luke are longer so that when I sing it is like I am singing a life song…A story song putting the word of God into song opens my eyes to so many lovely prayers that also come to mind…Such as the prayers said in Luke like the Canticle of Mary…Where Mary praises God by saying “My soul doth magnify the Lord and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my savior. Because he hath regarded the humility of his handmaid: for behold from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. Because he that is might hath done great things to me: and holy is his name. And his mercy is from generation unto generations, to them that fear him. He hath shewed might in his arm: he hat scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart. He hath put down the mighty from their seat and hath exalted the humble. He hath filled the hungry with good things: and the rich he hath sent empty away. He hath received Israel his servant, being mindful of his mercy. As he spoke to our fathers: to Abraham and to his seed for ever.” (Luke Ch. 01 Verses 46-55)…You can enjoy all of Luke Chapter 01 here:
