Charity

The picture I chose for this blog post is of a red brick that was used by my home to keep the critters from digging beneath the house. When I see this brick, I think of the freemasons. All I know is it is a cool masonic brick. The freemasons do a lot of Charity too. The first video I would like to share in this post is of a lady I have encountered a number of times. In the video you will hear her say that she gave me permission to record the video and share it on YouTube. Permission is always very important. All people are worthy of respect and dignity. Today I could manage purchasing her a pepperoni pizza a soda and some cookies from Subway. I cannot always manage it, but I do what I can when I can. I do not have much money. It does not matter how much we have there is always room for charity. God loves the poor and downtrodden and I do my best to give return for the good I have received in my life. I try to pay it forward. If I am ever blessed with abundance, I have a list of good people who helped me out when I was struggling financially whom I intend to pay back. Sadly, I have not been able to repay then yet due to my own financial struggles. Some of my friends got angry with me. One told me to “drop dead” another stopped communicating with me. When it comes to money I give freely not expecting a return. I never lend to a soul because I cannot afford to lend money. If I ever do become rich. I would not lend money I would pay back those who helped me before never mind that they got mad at me. Then I would freely give what I can to those that I can help. I encountered someone who relapsed and was kicked out of the homeless shelter. Addictions are terrible and many beset with addictions often end up homeless. The man who was kicked out of the homeless shelter asked me for money. He asks people for money. I said I could buy him food but could not hand him money. I checked my meager bank balance and discovered I could get him a six-inch subway sandwich if he wants that. He said he wanted cash, and I could not do that. God bless him he helped me ring the bell at the local Library. Many today struggle with mental illness and by the grace of God many with mental illness can manage. It is by the grace of God that I am able to manage. Others are not always able to manage.

Meet Barbara

The city I live in is very good about helping the poor and downtrodden. They do their best. I learned that they have tried to help this lady. She prefers to be homeless. Whenever I see her, I like to say hi and if the money is there, I get her a bottled water or some food. No matter our walk of life all people are worthy of respect and dignity.

Meet the local Masonic Lodge

I feature them in this blog post because they do a lot of charity. I feature them here to thank them for all the charity they do. I did a silent video, and the sound of birds is wonderful. In Texas there are many birds that sing beautifully for God. There is a bar that may or may not be linked to the masonic lodge. It has a neat name it is called The Leaf. I am unable to return there because when I did go there and lit up a cigar that they trimmed for me and sipped a fancy drink. I puffed on the cigar the smell of cigar smoke is very nice. Demons like to smoke so I smoked at The Leaf. Not for the demonic realm just because I could. That was when I was drinking and using. I forgot to pay on the way out. They managed to flag me down since I walk everywhere. I apologized and paid. The price was very reasonable. I did receive a criminal trespass warning not to return. I discovered that many local businesses love to bother the police whom I call bobbies. They call the police at the drop of a hat especially when you behave in an odd manner. All I did that evening was forget to pay. I am grateful I was able to visit the bar that is in the same building as the local Masonic Lodge. I did receive an invite to that bar before, but I said no because it is a men’s club. I later decided to pay it a visit one evening when it was open to the public. I smoked a cigar in honor of my late Uncle John who loved the odd cigar and sipped a fancy drink. I was inspired to give them a thank you note. At the time it was for the invite I received. Now it is for both the invite and the red brick I received. I mind my manners now and I am very respectful of law enforcement and do cooperate fully if I am ever approached by the Bobbies. I do not go where I am not welcome. I name them Bobbies in honor of Bobby Kennedy who was shot. In this way I honor the Kennedy family and former President Kennedy who tried to do a lot of good for America. His death is a tragedy that happened in Texas.

The Bell at the local Library

The library is a very charitable place. You can come here and read books or use their computers. They have a free faxing service here. They recently removed the fines that was owed them through a charitable fine forgiveness program. Thank you. I owed some fines, and they were forgiven. I did return all the books but did not have to pay the fines. I love the library. I learned that they do not mind if you ring the bell. So long as you do not overdo it. I rang the bell three times. The person who was kicked out of the homeless shelter for relapsing helped by doing the video for me. I hope and pray that he can turn his life around. This city tries hard to help there are rules that we all must follow and when rules are broken there are consequences.

A local store that did not mind that I recorded some things there.

Thank you to the local store that did not mind doing this video for me.

People where I live are very good and very charitable. They care and that is what I love about Texas. Many people do care. I also care and do charity when I can. This local shop did an act of charity today by not minding if I sat in this chair that is not for sale and helping me do a silly video. My lineage was royalty in Ireland. That was a very long time ago. This video is mocking England’s royalty. Why not? they did not do much for Ireland except cause more suffering during the great famine of 1847 that many of us from Ireland and around the world call Black-47. England gave America a terrible time, but America got England out. Well done, America. Ireland managed to get England out of most the country except the North of Ireland.

America is very charitable and does the most charity in the world. I love America and may God continue to bless America. I pray for America and the world every day.
